A LITTLE SALTY AND A LITTE SWEET! Meet RUBY She placed top 10 every time she entered at little britches, and top 5 every ATRA. I have ran her at a few jackpots and landed 2D money without really pushing just testing the waters. My 15 year old took her to the 2026 Arkansas Elite Barrel Finals and placed in open 3D both days in the open, and 2D in the junior side pot against some amazing SALTY horses. (round 1 open winning time 14.405 round 2 winning time 14.356) he has placed in the 1D youth many times at local jackpots. Rodeo life I feel like she strives even more, my clients 8yo girl took her to a local rodeo, placed second against some competitive teenagers. This mare wants to win. She hasn’t had her legs run off. Take her and run her and breed her later.

Ruby is a very very well broke mare. Stands about 14.2-14.3. She was started as a cutter, then put on barrels. She is very handy. I’ve rode her personally and ran her myself and mounted my own teenager on her. She knows her job, this isn’t a mare you need to run a million times at home, keep her legged up and go make runs. Ruby runs right, point and kick! The more you ask the more she gives. Say woah last minute, and she gets LOW. This mare IS youth suitable for a child that can ride. Will also wait for a kiddo to push her. Adult, college, high school rodeo, or just jackpots, she’s salty. Walk, trot, lope. Spins both ways. Stops and backs up. Her foundation is very correct and she is very broke.
Ruby has worked cattle, heeled calves this past winter, loads and unloads perfectly fine. Hauls great, stalls great. I’ve played with her on poles and boy she’d be salty if finished out!
