One Famous Peach – 2021 AQHA Mare
“Peach” is a 4-year-old mare with lots of potential. She’s not super fancy broke yet, but she works off your leg, starting to counter arc, and wants to be good but she just lacks confidence yet.
She’s been ridden down the road and through pastures. We have a feedlot, so she’s seen it all — cattle, farm machinery, tarps, puppies, baby strollers & wagons etc. Peach is very fast and athletic, and she’ll do best with a quiet, confident rider who can give her direction and reassurance. I’m her second owner. I haven’t officially started her on the barrel pattern, but we’ve done a few drills. With her speed, build, and mind, she’d make a nice project for someone looking to bring one along. She hops on the trailer and prefers to back out, so put her in your last hole.
She can pull back. It’s been a long time since she’s done it (and you think she’s over it), but it’s something to be aware of.
We’re expanding our feedlot, so a couple horses need to go plus our shop burned down this spring so I haven’t been hauling or riding much this year at all and she still needs more time and consistency than I can give her. I have more invested into her than what I’m asking.
