Along with her long list of wins and accomplishments, Dot has an incredible set of papers. Her sire, Replete offender, is the son of the legendary Fire Water Flit and out of Repete Fame, a powerhouse mare with over $330,000 in lifetime earnings and an NFR qualification under her belt. Dots damn, PIC N SANDICHEX, is a 6 time PRCA California Circuit qualifier, has multiple pro rodeo wins, and countless jackpot and amateur rodeo wins. Her grand dam, COLONELS SANDICHEX, was a 3x PRCA California circuit finalist and multi time pro rodeo winner. TAGS CELENE, was also an NFR qualifier. Dot is a very simple ride- she’s soft and easy to maneuver. Point and kick to your first and she will do the rest of the work for you. You can send her as hard as you want to the first and she will turn it every time. She’s the perfect balance of run and rate. Dot is known to take care of her riders and stays underneath you the entire time. She’s been ridden and ran by nervous youth and takes care of them every time. I have personally ridden this mare, and I want to emphasize how easy she is to get along with. Dot is intelligent, she’s never had to be ‘trained’ on, and she picks things up extremely quickly. She rides around exactly the same if she’s been turned out for months or ridden every day. You can hop on her bareback in a halter and dot will give you the same exact ride as if you were bitted and booted up.
Dot has minimal maintenance. She runs on Lasix as a preventative and has her hocks done as needed.
Dot will be competitive in any arena you put her in, but I can see her really excelling with a competitive youth at the highest levels. Big pattern, small pattern, good ground and terrible ground - Dot handles it. She requires no tuning and will do all the slow work your heart desires without getting upset. She has been on poles and will not take much to finish out competitively.
