Kuhl is a 6YO 15.3h gelding who would make a great playday/pleasure horse or teach him a new discipline!
Kuhl retired from the track sound with over 30k in earnings and SI 87.
I bought him Sept 2024, started him on the pattern (currently trot/ slow loping), would love to keep him, but he is not my style. He is push style. He is not fancy broke, but has picked up quickly on things off the track.
His demeanor calm. I can throw my 1yo and 5yo on him and ride around the pasture. Ride him bareback, carry a flag, swing a rope, or ride double, he does not mind. I would not advertise as a kids horse, as he is still young, but he is gentle.
Of note: he does have thin soles and currently has pads on his fronts. He never required pads prior to living on my rocky pasture.
