15.1 hands, probably 1050 lbs. For reference in the videos, I’m 5’7”. He’s a good sized, solid built horse.
Paid into/eligible for life:
Royal Crown
Diamond Classic
Future Fortunes
5 State
Nexus
Cornhusker
Gridiron
Lucky 7 Bonus
First entered in April 2024, and has made maybe 25 runs. Exhibitioned for a couple months before that. Very consistent mid 1D/top of 2D, with conservative riding, at tough, big races
(240-480 entries
). He’s impressively consistent already as well.
Has run within a half second or less of:
Aint Seen Me Yet
Aint Seen Famous Yet
Jets Letters Ta Abby
Red Man Jones
Slick Swingin Gypsy
French Bugs Tu
RS Bumble Bee Sting
Takin On A Goldmine
He’s a perfect balance of run and turn—he will do both! He’s one of those that always stops the clock a little faster than it felt or looked—I’m always surprised at how he clocks. It’s effortless for him.
He’s on the hotter side, but is very broke to ride. He will need a quieter rider who can ride and tune without spurring or popping in the mouth—he takes things personally and only needs very gentle and relaxed corrections. He has leveled out dramatically in the last few months of hauling, but is absolutely not a deadhead you can throw your kid on for a pony ride.
He’s the type that will always try his guts out for you. He’s more of a “weapon” type horse, not a youth or casual rider’s horse. ☺️ No buck or rear, and he's very safe—just a lot of horse! On the ground, he has excellent manners, ties by himself, loads, and is just generally nice to be around.
He’s a fairly easy keeper that doesn’t get fat, but always looks good too. He trailers and stalls very well, but definitely prefers being pastured at home, as that’s how he’s been raised.
He’s not a spooky horse—new places and sights don’t bother him. I do still exhibition him as I believe in keeping them correct for a long time, but he definitely won’t be the type that always needs to exhibition in the future.
Requires hock and stifle injections a couple times a year
(this may change if shoeing is kept correct
), 3D/frog support wedge pads
(due to negative hoof angles—with a good farrier he may not/hopefully won’t need these forever. They are an absolute MUST right now though, as he gets sore in the hind end without them
). I have chiropractic done occasionally, as with all mine. He runs on guanabenz, although I think he will also not need this much longer.
(I rarely use this for any of my horses—he truly needs a little liquid happy chill right now
). I run him on Lasix as I do with all, as preventative and because it’s hard to get a timely scope where I live, so I prefer to just prevent it altogether. I just finished a round of Adequan for support/maintenance/prevention. I’ve really tried to do everything right for him physically, and not take shortcuts.
I WILL NOT sell him to a youth rider, as he’s just not ready for that yet. He’s need a person with good horsemanship who can keep him confident, relaxed, and correct to finish out.
We raised this horse, and I know everything about him. I will only sell him to a good fit. Please do not inquire if you don’t believe in excellent equine performance vets, putting the horse first, if you can’t use your leg without spur, if you blame your horse for everything that goes wrong, or if you want to run at every $45 jackpot. I want this horse to go to someone who can utilize him at the level he is/will be competitive at in another 1-2 years of selective running.
Never been lame, no injuries
(other than a bone bruise probably from being kicked almost two years ago, that he just needed a few weeks off for
), no scars on his legs.
Priced at $65k. I may consider a little less to a perfect home with a quick easy sale, but if your first question to me is “will you take x” I’m probably going to ignore you. I won’t take much less, as I’m already debating keeping him another year.
He’s available because I train for a living, and I’m putting together a futurity program again, and nice prospects are not cheap. The oldest and most finished horses have to get moved. It would be financially prudent for me to let him find his next person before he gets hurt or dies or something 🤦♀️
PLEASE do not waste my time or yours if you don’t have cash in hand, actively looking for a competitive horse, and fit my bill of the type of person he needs. I will happily keep running him until the right person comes along.

As you can tell by my novella, I’m 100% honest and upfront, and am more concerned with finding a great fit vs. a quick sale! My horses’ futures and future owners’ happiness are very important to me.
