Zippo Blue Mount aka "Ripp"
2019 APHA Gelding 15.2hh
We have owned Ripp since he was a weanling, he is a gentle, great minded four year old. Fancy broke with all the buttons as he's been in our program from the beginning. He's been trail ridden, roped off of, worked cattle and started on the barrel pattern. He's exibitioned at smaller and bigger shows and is high loping a pattern smoothly, he's got a big motor when asked for it! We've hauled him with us a lot and he eats and drinks well on the road. He is very athletic and gets around with ease. Super smooth ride at a walk, trot and lope! He will get you compliments wherever you go! He is very soft in the face and will ride in anything. He has all the basic dressage manuevers and would excel in cowboy dressage. He has been shown in ranch classes as well and has all the look and style to win at the ranch horse shows. He can be watchy at times when trail riding but no silly business, I wouldn't say he is best suited as a trail horse since he likes to have a job. He'll drag/hold whatever you dally off to and is excellent at tracking cattle on his own so you can get the perfect shot. We have strictly ranch roped on him and have not had him in a box but feel he would pick it up with ease as he does everything else! Located in Litchfield Illinois.
