Gem is 10-12 year old palomino Grade mare. She stands 15.1 hands. Gem is a very willing girl. She is has spirit and is light and responsive on you leg and reins. I have taken her to a few barrel races and she goes in the arena without any issues and warms up nicely.She is a bit strong in the bridle but does listen. She would be suitable for a more experienced rider that wants a project to work with. With a little fine tunning and slow work on the pattern I think she will make someone a nice barrel horse. I don’t have the time to devote to her right now. She loads, stands, tied, good to shoe, has good feet, trail rides alone or with a group and she walks out.
