Safe, Seasoned and Honest with 110% Try Every Run!!! Youth Suitable!!!!
Gigi is a gorgeous 9 year old AQHA sorrel mare with long beautiful flaxen mane and tail. She is in shape and ready to win! She is 14.2 hands and is as wide as she is tall with excellent confirmation. She normally clocks 1D/2D in Open and 1D youth at local races with around 100 entries. She was top 5 in the 2D Open at NBHA State finals against 300+ horses. She is a very easy style to run. There are no tricks or funny business to running this mare. She runs great indoors or outdoors. Absolutely no gates issues, waits patiently in holding pens, side gates don’t bother her, she will run in and out alleys etc. This mare honestly gives her all every run and loves her job. She is extremely broke with all the buttons; moves all parts of her body (hip, shoulder, breaks at the poll etc) counter archs, pivots, spins, side passes, etc. She loads, hauls, stands tied to trailer perfect. Eats and drinks great on the road. Stand great for the farrier and for vaccines/coggins etc. She does not need to be ran on any special supplements or drugs. She does not have any major vices. She is gritty but very sweet. She is a very personable/friendly with a big personality and loves attention. I know this mare inside and out and will tell you everything. For those of you that are worried that she is a mare, no need to, she does not have any mare tendencies what so ever, in fact she is hard to even tell when she is in heat. She would excel in High School and Jr. Rodeo. The mares 1st rodeo ever was this summer with my daughter and all the excitement and bad ground did not bother this mare a bit. She thrived in that atmosphere. Out of 80+ entries she was bottom of the ground and still was 9th and outran some tough Pro girls entered as most of their rodeos were canceled due to Covid. I will not sell her to a home that I do not think is the perfect fit or lifestyle where is will not be well taken care of. She did not do anything wrong for us to sell her! The only reason we are listing her is because a horse my daughter has wanted for a while has came up for sale.
